What is the "Banana Hunt" game?

"Banana Hunt" is a computer game designed to help young students learn to estimate angles on a circle. To play, players must place a small monkey icon on the edge of the circle where the angle degree is located, and are rewarded with bananas.

The number of bananas rewarded is based on how close the player's guess is to the correct degree. If the guess is only 1 degree off, eight bananas are rewarded. If the guess is 2 degrees off, six bananas are rewarded. If more than 5 degrees of error, no bananas are rewarded.

The game was created in the Oswego County School district in Oswego, New York.
