President Barack Obama is a Christian. Prior to his election, he attended Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. He received some of his early education at a Catholic school.

President Obama is the 44th president of the United States. He was born in Hawaii in 1961. His mother was from Kansas and his father hailed from Kenya. His grandparents were influential in his upbringing. He was elected as President in 2008 and again in 2012. Prior to his presidential nomination, Obama served on the Illinois State Senate. He is married to Michelle Obama. The couple has two daughters, Sasha and Malia.
