What is the basic plot and goal of "The Impossible Game?"?

"The Impossible Game" has no plot, but the basic goal is to advance as far as possible without dying. Players control a square that moves through a path of obstacles, and they must use the spacebar to jump and avoid hitting obstacles, or the game starts over.

Players can try the game in practice mode, during which they can drop flags as they move that become the new starting point. "The Impossible Game" originated on the Xbox 360 but is now available as a mobile application and for play online. The soundtrack is a major part of the game and is also available for download.
