The British Broadcasting Corporation offers live streaming television via the organization's iPlayer. This software is available on a computer, connected television, mobile phone or tablet. Users must have a television license and be present in the United Kingdom for the software to work.

The BBC streams several channels over the iPlayer including BBC One through BBC Four. In addition, BBC News Channel, BBC Parliament, CBBC, CBeebies and BBC ALBA are available to watch. For those interested in a high-definition experience, the BBC offers BBC One HD and BBC Two HD. Live streaming is not available on game consoles or smart televisions, as of 2015, but many programs can be viewed after airing live.
