How can you highlight hair with peroxide?

Hair can be highlighted with a hydrogen peroxide and water solution. The solution can be applied all over the head or just in targeted areas to create highlights.

To highlight hair with peroxide, you need a clean spray bottle, plastic or rubber gloves and 3 or 6 percent peroxide. If the peroxide is 6 percent, dilute it with water before using. Spray the entire head for an all-over lightening effect, or target strands around the face or at the part for highlights. Saturate the hair and let it process. Check the results every 15 minutes. When satisfied with the results, rinse the hair and style as usual.
