How do you dye your hair with peroxide?

To dye your hair slowly with hydrogen peroxide, mix equal parts of peroxide and water in a spray bottle, and spray your hair with the mix every morning until the desired lightness is achieved. To dye your hair all at once, mix equal parts of peroxide and conditioner, apply the mixture throughout your hair, then rinse thoroughly.
- Prepare your hair
Stop all hair treatments on your hair for a few weeks. This ensures that there are no chemicals to interfere or cause any unwanted reaction with the hydrogen peroxide.
- Wash your hair
Use shampoo and conditioner on your hair, and let it air-dry until it is damp but not wet. Starting with damp hair facilitates even distribution of the peroxide without preventing it from sticking to the hair strands.
- Use the spray-bottle method for a gradual lightening process
Mix equal quantities of hydrogen peroxide and water in a small spray bottle, and shake well. Spray the mixture onto your hair a few times, just enough to apply some peroxide onto your hair without making it wet. Repeat this every morning until the desired hue is obtained.
- Use the conditioner method to lighten hair all at once
If you'd rather lighten your hair quickly, mix 1/2 cup of peroxide and 1/2 cup of conditioner and apply it evenly throughout your hair. Make sure to use gloves. Rinse thoroughly.
