What beer lager can a diabetic drink with no sugar?

Keroche Breweries, a Kenyan-based company, makes a naturally brewed lager called Summit, which it claims is sugar free. Belgium-based Caulier also makes a sugar-free lager called Caulier Extra.

Keroche Summit beer is described as gold-colored, dry and slightly bitter. It is 5.0 percent alcohol by volume. Also golden-colored, the taste of Caulier Extra is described as intense, with a citrusy smell. It is 4.3 percent alcohol by volume.

The American Diabetes Association recommends that people with diabetes limit alcohol consumption to one drink per day for women and two drinks per day for men. With beer, one drink is equivalent to a single 12-ounce glass.
