Are Beltone hearing aids good?

All of the reviews presented in 11 letters and six videos on the Beltone website feature positive evaluations. A majority of the 111 reviews on the Consumer Affairs website are negative, often claiming that the prices are high and that the hearing aids, batteries and battery chargers are not durable.

Fifty-two percent of the Consumer Affairs reviewers gave Beltone hearing aids one star out of five. Reviews include dissatisfaction with the performance of the product and poor customer service. One customer reports paying $6,590 for the product and being told that the company charges a $500 fee for returns. An expert review states that the hearing aids do not hold up well and use up the batteries quickly.
