Other benefits of LG registration include access to tips from LG product pros, warranty plans and updates, and previews of new LG products.

As of February 2015, an LG appliance can be registered online at the LG website by clicking on the Register a Product link located in the top-left corner of the page, just above the search bar. The model and serial number are needed when registering. Both can be found on the cover of the product's owner's manual.
