The Bible Study Fellowship is a good organization for those who want to study the Bible in the tradition of Christian communities that grew out of the Protestant Reformation. Roman Catholics should know that the program is based on the Protestant Bible, which lacks some of the books found in the Roman Catholic Bible. The leadership of the Bible Study Fellowship also endorses and promotes a Statement of Faith that is at odds with official Roman Catholic teaching on certain points.
