How big do dwarf rabbits grow?

Dwarf rabbits weigh between 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 pounds when fully grown. They have small, round bodies with short ears that stand straight up. They are popular because of their cute, infantile appearance even in adulthood.

The Netherland Dwarf is the most common dwarf rabbit, but any rabbit that weighs less than 4 pounds as an adult is considered a dwarf rabbit, so there are several different varieties. Dwarf rabbits make great pets because they can be litter-box trained, and they eat very little. They are fairly intelligent and can learn to recognize their names and respond to simple commands.
