What is Bill Winston Ministries?

Bill Winston Ministries is an evangelical Christian organization that is based in the Living World Christian Center in the city of Chicago, Illinois. The organization was founded in 1989 by Pastor Bill Winston and first started meeting in a high-crime neighborhood in Chicago's West Side.

Prior to moving to Chicago, Pastor Winston began his evangelical activities in the city during weekend trips from his home in Minnesota. These weekend gatherings were called Faith Crusades and generally drew crowds of less than 20 people. As of 2015, Bill Winston Ministries claims to have approximately 19,000 members and holds its activities in a multimillion-dollar worship center.
