What is a bird's nest fern?
By Forinfos - 16/05/2025 - 0 comments
A bird's nest fern is a tropical plant that features bright green fronds radiating from a rosette in the plant's center. In the rainforest, these plants often grow where tree branches join, making them look like a bird's nest.
Some bird's nest fern varieties have wavy-edge fronds. Other varieties have fronds that branch on the end when the plant matures. The ferns grow indoors in a bowl or base, and they thrive in high-humidity climates that maintain a temperature between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Bird's nest ferns can be repotted into bigger containers as they grow larger, but they usually cannot be divided for new plants.
