Does black mica extract clean water?

Black mica extract does not clean water. Adya Clarity, or black mica, is sold as a nutritional supplement that is mixed with water and taken orally. There is no filter or other mechanism used to remove impurities from the treated water.
The company that manufacturers the product claims it draws heavy metals out of the body and provides the body with essential minerals and electrolytes. Investigations by the FDA have revealed that the product contains aluminium, lead, arsenic and sulfuric acid. Consumers report that their fingernails have turned black after consuming this product regularly over an extended period of time.
