Remove Blu-tack marks from walls by cleaning the area with a citrus-based stain remover and trisodium phosphate. This process takes only a few minutes. You need stain remover, a sponge, a rag, trisodium phosphate, water, a gallon container and rubber gloves.
- Set up protection against chemicals
Don the rubber gloves to protect your hands from the stain removers. Make sure that the area in which you are working is well-ventilated. Open a window or turn on a fan.
- Apply the stain remover
Purchase a stain remover that has a citrus-base. Read the label, and apply as instructed. After applying, rinse the area with clean water and a sponge.
- Mix the trisodium phosphate solution
Fill a container with 1 gallon of water. Measure out 5 tablespoons of trisodium phosphate. Dissolve the phosphate into the water.
- Apply the trisodium phosphate solution
Dip a fresh sponge into the trisodium phophate solution and apply directly to the Blu-tack mark. Allow the solution to soak into the stain for several minutes. Follow the instructions on the label of the trisodium phosphate container for recommendations.
- Rinse the area
After the stain fades, rinse the area with clean water. Dry the spot with a towel or rag.
