What are boiler floor heating systems?
By Forinfos - 12/01/2026 - 0 comments
A boiler floor heating system is a means of heating a home by using water heated between 100 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit using a boiler. The heated water is circulated through tubing under floor paneling or carpeting.
Boiler floor heating systems are also called hydronic systems. They are more comfortable than many other heating systems because the heat generated comes directly from the floor, and the heat does not dry out the air in a home the way a standard vent-based heating system does. Hydronic systems run at a constant cycle, resulting in consistent temperature throughout a living area. Any kind of finished flooring can be installed above it.
