Bomgar is remote access software that technicians use to diagnose and repair computers and mobile devices. The software allows an authorized user to remotely connect to and control systems through firewalls.

Bomgar allows for remote viewing and control of desktops, laptops, phones, mobile devices, point-of-sale systems and servers. It works with most major operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, iOS and Android. It logs remote sessions, and it is possible to enable both text chat and video. Bomgar also allows for file transfer. The first version of the software came out in 2003, and it has grown to include over 9,000 corporate clients.
