Nicholas Sparks did not release any books in 2014. The books released before that include "The Longest Ride" in 2013 and "The Best of Me" in 2011.

Sparks released his first novel, "The Notebook," in 1996. This novel was later adapted into a movie and released in 2004. Since then he has released books such as "Message in a Bottle," "A Walk to Remember," "The Rescue," "A Bend in the Road" and "Dear John." In 2012, Sparks and Theresa Park, his publishing agent and creative partner, launched Nicholas Sparks Productions, with Park serving as the President of Production for the film and television company.
