What is a Border Collie and Corgi mix?

Border Collie and Pembroke Welsh Corgi hybrids are designed dog breeds often called "Borgis." This mutt, like all other mixes and purebred dogs, has a unique temperament and personality.

Borgi dogs possess distinctive physical traits and temperaments from each breed. They have the large perky ears and fine coat distinctive in Pembroke Welsh Corgis, as well as short stubby legs. The hue of their fur is dark brown to black, rather than tan, reminiscent of Border Collies. As for their general size, they are slightly smaller than Border Collies but not as small as Corgis. Because of their Collie heritage, they can be used as small herding dogs. Borgis are often intelligent and loving mutts.
