What does a Boston Terrier and Bulldog mix look like?

A Boston terrier/English bulldog mix, or Boston bulldog, is a medium-sized, short-coated dog with the relatively large head, wide face and short pug nose characteristic of both breeds. Both parent breeds are noted for their gentle natures, suggesting a similar disposition for the cross.

The adult appearance of a mixed-breed puppy is less predictable than that of a purebred and may vary even among puppies from the same litter, but the appearance is usually a composite of the parents' traits. Both English bulldogs and Boston terriers are prone to eye, dental and respiratory problems because of the shape of their heads, and Boston bulldogs are likely to have similar issues.
