A Boston terrier and a pug hybrid mix is called a Bugg, according to Dog Breed Info Center. Buggs are recognized by the Designer Breed Registry, the American Canine Hybrid Club, the International Designer Canine Registry, and the Designer Dogs Kennel Club.

The Bugg hybrid has a lifespan of 10 to 13 years and is good with families or active seniors. They are 10 to 17 inches tall and weigh 15 to 25 pounds. Buggs are playful, loving and energetic. They can be raised in apartments or houses and do not require a yard. Buggs are classified as easy to train.
