Better Homes and Gardens offers a tutorial video about decorative bows on the magazine's website, BHG.com. Christy Jordan's Southern Plate provides a hair bow tutorial video along with photographs and instructions at SouthernPlate.com.

Hosted by editor Madison Mayberry, the Better Homes and Gardens video illustrates how to make several decorative bow styles including poinsettia bows, floral bows and two-tone bows. These larger bows work well as accents on wreaths and gifts. The video available from Southern Plate demonstrates how to make hair bow barrettes using ribbon, thread and hot glue. Southern Plate's Jordan estimates that she can finish more than 12 bows in an evening using her method.
