What are Boyds Bears?

Boyds Bears is a line of collectible teddy bears made by the Boyds Bears Authority. Boyds Bears come in plush and resin styles and many are now rare and expensive.

The Boyds Bear collection began as an antique shop that was run out of the home of its founders, G.M. and Justina Lowenthal. The company quickly expanded to produce wool teddy bears and decoy ducks and eventually began producing its sought-after Bearstone Collection. Despite looking like toys, these bears are meant as collectibles and should not be played with by children.

Today, the company produces collectibles such as Bailey and Friends, and Boyds Hares and Critters.
