How do you build a concrete basketball court?

To build a concrete basketball court, clear the area, construct a frame, pour the concrete and install the hoops. Basketball courts can also be surfaced or sealed based on the builder's preferences.

A half-court is 30 feet by 50 feet, while a full court is 60 feet by 90 feet.

1. Create the frame

Clear the area where the basketball court will sit and level the surface. Excavate the soil to the desired depth, and then build a frame using 2x4 boards and 2x2 stakes.

2. Pour the concrete

Mix the concrete according to the manufacturer's instructions, and pour it into the frame. Smooth it with a trowel, and allow it to harden. When the court is finished, install basketball hoops at the short ends to complete the project.
