What do bunnies like to eat?
By Forinfos - 04/02/2025 - 0 comments
Bunnies like to eat timothy, oat and grass hay, and a variety of green leafed vegetables, such as lettuce, collard greens and kale. Bunnies also eat nutrient fortified timothy or alfalfa pellets. A bunny’s ideal diet varies depending on age and living environment.
Hay provides the necessary fiber required for a healthy digestive tract, while vegetables, such as lettuce, cilantro and parsley, provide important dietary nutrients and vitamins. Bunnies less than 7 months old should primarily be fed alfalfa pellets, and adult bunnies should be fed timothy pellets, since they are less likely to cause obesity and excess calcium intake.
