Do bunnies make good house pets?

In the right environment, a bunny makes a good pet. Domesticating a bunny requires a lot of care and socialization. Ideal owners for pet bunnies are adults with no children or who have older children; small children may be anxious when holding bunnies, leading to poor bonding.
It is possible to train a bunny to use a litter box, but the bunny’s urine is super strong, making accidents problematic. Neutering or spaying often reduces the pungent odor of rabbit urine.
Since the bunny has a tendency to chew through various objects, including electrical wires, posing a threat to the bunny’s safety and the safety of the owner, it requires supervision or caging at all times.
