What do you call a Chihuahua-Schnauzer mix?

A mix between a Chihuahua and a Schnauzer is called a Chizer. Chizers are small dogs that reach 6 to 14 inches in height and 4 to 15 pounds in weight. They are typically playful, energetic and loyal.

Chizers have smooth, short coats that come in brown, grey, white or black. Their coats require daily brushing and frequent trimming around the facial features. Chizers have long ears that stand on end when alert, and their tails are usually docked to be very short. These dogs are best suited for living with adults, and they require considerable socialization before they can be comfortable around children.
