What is a Can-Am ATV?

A Can-Am ATV is an all terrain vehicle brand manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products, a motorized recreational vehicle company. The Can-Am brand name was originally used in 1972 for motorcycles. In 2007, BRP used the Can-Am name for the rebranding of its ATV lineup.

Can-Am introduced its first side-by-side ATV models in 2011 with the Commander line. Dynamic power steering was added to the lineup in 2013. Dynamic power steering combined with BRP's Visco-Lok QE front differential system gives drivers more control over previous models. As of 2014, all models in the Commander line use BRP's “Rotax” engine, which is widely accepted as one of the most reliable on the market.
