"Animal Jam" headquarters releases codes on the game's blog, "The Daily Explorer," at DailyExplorer.AnimalJam.com, as of 2015. Headquarters also occasionally sends codes out to users via Jam-A-Grams and puts them in National Geographic Kids Magazine.
