Wal-Mart employees can choose to have their wages deposited directly into their Money Network account for instant access on payday. They can then access their funds by using the MasterCard linked to the account or by writing a check, according to Money Network. Retailers that accept MasterCard debit cards also accept Money Network cards. Cardholders can also configure their accounts to accept deposits from other sources.
