Can you find an attorney at The Florida Bar?

Any lawyer licensed to practice law in the state of Florida is listed on The Florida Bar Find a Lawyer Web page, advises The Florida Bar. The initial search criteria includes the lawyer’s name, firm and location, as of July 2015.

Filters limiting searches to “sound like” names broaden lawyer searches to include more results. A filter to include judges and eligible lawyers also helps to find a specific lawyer. An option to exclude deceased lawyers is also available. Additional search criteria include practice areas, law schools, services offered and languages spoken, according to The Florida Bar. As of July 2015, there are 83,799 Florida lawyers eligible to practice in Florida.
