Where can you find blobfish swimming?

The blobfish is found at depths from 2,000 to 4,000 feet off the coast of Australia. With pressures up to 120 times greater than the water surface, the animals are rarely observed by humans. As of 2014, a lot is still unknown about this unique species.

The lack of a true skeleton, real muscle and a swim bladder that would otherwise collapse at great depths allows blobfish to survive deep below the sea.

The creature is known for its unique features that resemble a displeased face with exaggerated and grotesque features. As such, the blobfish was once named the "World's Ugliest Animal' by the Ugly Animal Preservation Society.
