Can you buy cars on eBay?

EBay allows members to buy and sell cars under the eBay Motors section. Many vehicles appear as traditional auctions where potential buyers place bids. The highest bidder upon completion of the auction buys the car. Other sellers offer vehicles with a Buy It Now or Make Offer option.

The eBay Motors section offers built-in tools to evaluate the vehicle and aid in bidding. EBay helps buyers find financing during the purchase process. If the vehicle is not local, the buyer arranges for pick-up or delivery of the car. The buyer also needs to contact his state's Department of Motor Vehicles to complete paperwork to transfer the vehicle title.
