Breeding giraffes can fetch prices of $80,000 or higher. In order to find a giraffe for sale in your area, you will need to contact local exotic animal dealers. Giraffes aren't currently protected in the savannas of Africa, so it is possible to buy one legally.

Because giraffes require a lot of space and food, it's often recommended that people adopt a wild giraffe, rather than buying one.
