As of 2015, the Nook First Edition charger can be purchased at Barnes and Noble stores and online stores such as Amazon.com, BN.com and EverydaySource.com. The Nook First Edition uses a standard Micro USB cable and a computer USB port or USB charger.
The Nook First Edition uses the same charger as the Nook Simple Touch, Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight and the Nook Glowlight. The USB charger must output five volts and have a maximum output of 850 mAH.
The Barnes and Noble Nook 1st Edition e-book reader was released in November 2009 and featured a six-inch screen, Wi-Fi and AT&T 3G connectivity. The original retail price was $259.
