Where can you buy Samsung stock?

Investors can purchase Samsung stock using a broker such as E*Trade. Brokers including Scottrade, Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade also provide investors with the power to purchase shares. Since no U.S. stock market lists Samsung stock, brokers buy from the over-the-counter, or OTC, market, explains CNN Money.
Not all investment brokers allow the purchase of the Samsung stock because the stock is only available on the OTC market, notes CNN Money. Samsung's stock ticker symbol is SSNLF. The price of one share of SSNLF is more than $1,000 as of 2015, according to MarketWatch. Finally, brokers charge more in fees for each transaction, as the OTC market involves a higher risk than U.S. stock markets.
