Can customers pay their REDcard credit card balance at a Target store?

As of 2015, a customer can pay his REDcard balance at the guest services desk, according to Target. The customer should bring his credit card with him or his billing statement because store personnel cannot retrieve the account number.

A customer can also pay his balance online, through the mail, via phone and by automatic payments, explains Target. A customer cannot apply funds from a gift card toward REDcard payments, whether they are made in stores or through other methods. Target recommends that customers pay at least the minimum due by the due date every month to avoid fees for late payment.
