Cute waitress books are available from specialty wait staff stores, online sellers and brick and mortar shops. Some waitresses and waiters create their own books out of small notebooks or binders purchased from mass retail stores.

Waitress books can easily be made out of any duct tape of choice. Waiters and waitresses can make their own cute books by positioning two pieces of cardboard together and securing them neatly with the duct tape. Pockets should be added with additional cardboard and duct tape to hold tickets and payments. A slot can also be cut into the homemade book to hold a server pad.
