Where can you find the Desert Sage in Red Dead Redemption?

The desert sage, known scientifically as Salvia eremostachya, can be found and harvested as a part of game play in the Western-themed video game Red Dead Redemption. This plant is most likely to be found in the game world near the locations of Gaptooth Ridge and Diez Coronas.

Between the Ridgewood Farm and Oddfellows Rest locations especially, the desert sage is found in abundance. It is useful to collect it as it is a required item for completing several quests in the game. The Survivalist Challenge quest, for example, will have the player collect eight samples of desert sage in all.
