Minecraft Workbench is a sandbox construction game. Users take on an avatar, and then they create and destroy constructions of blocks in a three-dimensional environment. There are various different multi- and single-player game options. The game is played through the user's web browser, and players can engage in games with other players via the Internet. The original version of the game, what is now called the Classic version, was first released in 2009.
