Free wallpapers for computers are available for download on Microsoft.com and AmericanGreetings.com. Both websites have a wide variety of wallpapers that are subdivided into different categories to suit the needs of the user.

To download free wallpapers from Microsoft.com, type “free wallpapers” in the search box located at the upper right hand of the homepage and click Desktop Backgrounds. On the new page, choose a category on the left side of the screen under Featured Wallpapers. Choose one wallpaper from the provided search results, right-click anywhere on it, and then click Set As Desktop Background. Use the same procedure when downloading wallpapers from AmericanGreetings.
