Can I get drunk on nonalcoholic beer?

Getting drunk on nonalcoholic beer is theoretically possible but typically requires drinking a large number of the beers. The term "nonalcoholic beer" is a misnomer, as these products usually contain a small amount of alcohol.
In the United States, "low alcohol" or "nonalcoholic" beers are terms used for products that contain less than 0.05 percent alcohol by volume. This means approximately nine of these beers equals the content of one normal beer. In the United Kingdom, any beer with less than 0.05 percent alcohol by volume is termed nonalcoholic, while beers with an alcohol by volume between 0.05 and 1.2 percent are considered low alcohol.
