Can eating raw noodles give you worms?

There is no evidence that consuming raw noodles creates risk for parasitic infections, but a person is at risk of contracting salmonella resulting from inclusion of raw eggs in the ingredients. Salmonella is a bacteria often present both inside and outside eggs, states the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Cooking eggs thoroughly, whether alone or in a recipe, kills salmonella, reducing the chance for infection, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Other safe-handling practices, such as keeping eggs refrigerated, throwing away dirty or cracked eggs, and consuming eggs immediately after cooking, also lower the risk of bacterial infection.
