Where can you find EdHeads simple machines?

Edheads Simple Machines can be found on the Edheads website. Designed for second to sixth graders, this game introduces them to simple machines around the house such as pulleys, gears, wheels and inclined planes.

After exploring the house for simple machines, readers are instructed to examine to the tool shed in order to see how simple machines work together to make compound machines. Edheads provides tips, discussion points and evaluation questions to accompany the game. Lesson plan suggestions created by teachers are available at no cost from this nonprofit organization. Similar reading materials of increasing complexity are available for students as advanced as 12th grade.
