As of 2015, visitors can walk through the Japanese garden exhibit and enjoy lunch or a snack at the Arbor Cafe at Gibbs Gardens in Ball Ground, Georgia. These gardens are open year-round with various flowers and plants in bloom.

Covering 40 acres, the Japanese garden at Gibbs Gardens is the largest in the nation. The garden includes a large pond, 40 stone lanterns, a traditional Japanese pagoda and a zigzag bridge. Visitors enjoy the large selection of Japanese maples, ferns and flowers native to Japan.

At the Arbor Cafe, visitors can rest before returning to exploring the many acres of gardens. The cafe serves salads, sandwiches and wraps as well as loaves of fresh bread to take home.
