Apple no longer maintains a product registration website for its Macintosh computer line. However, Macintosh owners can still check the warranty status of their computer using Apple's warranty information system.

Apple Macintosh computers are usually registered with Apple when they are first started up as part of the device's setup procedure. Warranty information is also linked to a Macintosh's serial number directly, so it is possible to get service for an in-warranty computer even if the device is not registered. If it is necessary to change the registered owner of an Apple computer, Apple recommends reformatting the device and having the new owner run through the Setup process.
