The U.S. Supreme Court posts its decisions on its website, SupremeCourt.gov. The court offers three kinds of opinions: slip opinions, opinions relating to orders, and in-chamber opinions.

Slip opinions are posted shortly after a bench opinion is issued. They can include corrections from the version that is read in court. These opinions include the case syllabus, majority or plurality opinion, and concurring or dissenting opinions.

Opinions relating to orders are written by individual justices concerning a dissent or concurrence of a denial of certiorari, which means the court has not accepted a case for oral argument.

In-chamber opinions are issued by one justice who has decided on an application for interim relief. These include stays or vacation of stays issued by lower court decision, as well as temporary injunctions. The justice makes this decision as chief judge of the judicial circuit served.
