Where can you find information on the normal range for cancer markers?

As of 2015, information on the normal range for cancer markers is available at OncoLink.org, states Penn Medicine. The website chart shows markers that medical professionals use most frequently, cancers with which the markers can be present, noncancerous marker-elevating conditions, and the normal results range.
Tumor markers are physical indicators that a cancer produces or that the body produces when responding to a cancer, explains Penn Medicine. Markers can appear in several cancers or in a single type of cancer. When reviewing tumor markers, individuals should be aware that the body naturally produces some substances used as markers, and a zero reading does not always represent a normal level.
