Karaoke CDG, or CD+G, files are not available for free from any legal sources. Karaoke CDG files are available legally from websites including UnifyKaraoke.com, SunflyKaraoke.com and BuyKaraokeDownloads.com.

CD+G, or Compact Disc Graphics, is an extension of the Compact Disc format that is capable of displaying low-resolution graphics from a CD when played from a compatible device. This file format is commonly used in Karaoke machines that take advantage of CD+G files to display the lyrics of songs stored in compact discs. CD+G format Compact Discs are also playable in consumer devices including some standalone DVD players.

CD+G technology was introduced in 1985 with Eat or Be Eaten by Firesign Theatre.
