Can Lysol remove or kill bedbugs?
By Forinfos - 12/06/2025 - 0 comments
Lysol is not effective at killing bedbugs. However, if it is wet, it may kill bugs who come into contact with it due to the alcohol content in the Lysol. Once Lysol has dried, it has no effect on bedbugs whatsoever, advises NBC Dateline.
Some household products, such as rubbing alcohol or bleach, kill bedbugs if a person sprays them directly onto the insects. However, most of these products are not effective at killing bedbug eggs. In addition to chemicals and sprays formulated for bedbug use, some of the most effective treatments include applying extreme heat or steam to areas where bedbugs live and hide.
